How to Make your Basic EDC living in Puerto Rico! And what should it include?

What the heck is EDC? I found myself asking that same question a while ago, so don't worry if you don't know what it means that is why we are here for, the good thing is that we are going to explain it here very simple for you also we have a blog post about the perfect EDC Backpack going more in depth on the bag aspect of it so go check it out its good.

EDC: Something that you carry with you every day. Commonly used in self-defense circles in reference to folding knives, handguns, flashlights, tactical pens, etc. That is the urban dictionary definition. So basically all the junk you carry with you every day, so why not carry better more purpose driven stuff with you every day.

So straight to the mark, What do i carry in my EDC living in Puerto Rico working mostly from home and street it pays to have a couple items that help you face any situation like a basic emergency. I recommend you do your EDC thinking in all the stuff you do in your day like opening boxes or opening bottles, and then start gathering your basic items so that you never have to be that guy that opens the package with its teeth. Here is the list of items i recommend you begin with:

Start with a good bag for your EDC.

1) A Good knife , Very useful in lots of scenarios, a knife not only could potentially be of great help in your day by helping in opening boxes and letters.

2) A lighter, I don't smoke but a lighter has many uses so always keep one with you.

3) A Flashlight , Kinda self explanatory you may find yourself stranded and a flashlight would save you.

4) Pen, There is no better way to sign documents than having your own pen rather than asking for a pen.

5) Pocket notebook, a pen without a notebook just don't make sense so always carry one with you to make notes.

6) A Cellphone , yeah we are in 2019 i think i don't have to mention it but still you never know who may not have one, i personally use iphone on the moment i use the iphone 8 plus and its amazing for photography and business, but androids are as good if not better in many ways so keep that in mind this is my recommendation on android.

7) A Multitool, everybody should carry a multitool with them, it changes your life i recently gave my wife a Gerber Dime one and she loves it and it makes me happy to know she uses it and it helps her with her daily tasks in her job.

Extras

8) A good watch, I personally use daily the apple watch and i love it.

9) Pry Tool, Just in case you may have to remove a stubborn piece of something stuck, yes it's the least used item in my EDC but it still is useful.

10) Chapstick,Nothing worse than being crusty lips guy, don't be like that use chap.
